HELLO FROM ALL CATWEL'S VOLUNTEERS

These are some of Catwel's valued and committed volunteer helpers, who give their time and experience in attending events to help set up fayres and auctions, and through their hard work raise much needed funds to help Catwel care for stray and unwanted cats in the Cardiff area. Well done guys !!.

I am Margaret Harris, the founder of Catwel. I have been involved in cat rescue work for 14 years. It has meant a great deal of personal commitment, but the advent of Catwel as an active, successful charity, was certainly not achieved by me alone. Where we are at present has been due to the effort, support and commitment of many people.

My name is Marilyn Oram.

I have been involved with the welfare of cats for almost thirty years, and I am now helping with fund raising for Catwel.

Hello from Helen

My name is Helen Powell, one of Catwel's trustees. I have 10 years experience of animal welfare and have volunteered and worked at a local RSPCA rescue centre for 5 years, dealing with dogs, wildlife and specialising in cats. I have been instrumental in setting up Catwel as a registered charity. My own cats and dogs are all rescued, including Zoe, who is a 19 year old blind cat, previously belonging to Mary Williams who kindly donated her property to us, enabling Catwel to make our 're-homing' centre dream a reality. I am currently studying towards a diploma in animal behaviour.
